No. When you purchase one of our courses, the Advanced Modules will not be included. Our Advanced Modules are short courses and are optional for those who wish to further their studies. The Darren Palmer Masterseries is essentially a set of videos hosted by renowned designer and TV personality Darren Palmer, that accompany our courses. When you are studying our course materials, we recommend that you also watch the videos by Darren, to gain more knowledge. These videos can be purchased when you enrol, or at any time during the course. If you enrol in our Diploma course, the Darren Palmer Masterseries will be included.
Our courses are delivered online and all information is provided digitally. As soon as you enrol, you will gain access to our online student site. You can download the course materials as you proceed through each module. As the modules are provided in PDF format you can keep them for future reference and print if you wish. The only time we mail something out is when you successfully graduate our course.
The Certificate course does not include any CAD software. We do, however, teach AutoCAD, ArchiCAD and SketchUp through our Advanced Modules. If you enrol in our Diploma course, the SketchUp Advanced Module will be included for free and you will be required to use SketchUp for your Diploma assignments.
Yes. We offer a credit transfer to any applicant who provides suitable evidence that they have successfully completed a unit of competency at any Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
We have developed a bespoke RPL that is only available to students who have enrolled in our Certificate course and have completed all 12 Certificate assignments. By completing this RPL process, a student will upgrade their qualification and receive the Diploma certification.
The RPL course consists of 1 module and has been broken down into 12 project tasks that are designed to gradually build and expand on the knowledge our students have gained in the Certificate course. One of the main differences between the Certificate and the Diploma is that students are required to learn CAD software and use this to produce both 2D floor plans and 3D models.
Students have 12 months to complete our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) course.
